Who owns the fish? (riddle)

since there have been some einstein threads, i will post this riddle which is actually not written by him as is claimed, but it still takes a nice amount of time to figure out. There are no tricks to it and its very logical.

There are five houses in five different colors starting from left to right. In each house lives a person of a different nationality. These owners all drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigarette and keep a certain type of pet. No two owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand or drink the same beverage. The question is: WHO OWNS THE FISH??? Hints:

1. The Brit lives in the red house
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets
3. The Dane drinks tea
4. The green house is on the left of the white house
5. The green house's owner drinks coffee
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
8. The man living in the centre house drinks milk
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house
10. The person who smokes Marlboro lives next to the one who keeps cats
11. The person who keeps horses lives next to the person who smokes Dunhill
12. The person who smokes Winfield drinks beer
13. The German smokes Rothmans
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house
15. The person who smokes Marlboro has a neigbor who drinks water



if you already know the answer please wait a few days for others to try it out, and googling will only waste the worlds time, just ignore it because cheating will only make you feel dumb for not gettin it.

i got it and it isnt hard, just do the math.

the first time I did it I fucked up cause I had the white house in the middle, I figured more out and fixed it and the white house was last, other then that mistake it was easy....the GERMAN owns the fish.

naw tho, obviously mr. thug was able to figure it out from this list, i got half way through, but then i started watching law and order svu(i never watch t.v. too) and i forgot where i was at and started crumpling up the paper.

Edit: i just googled it and the new result i got differs from my original post and the one posted by Dhadnot. So there are probably different versions n shit.

I did a different version and got the german in the green 4th house.
Just make a 5x5 grid and eliminate and it's not too hard, took me an hour though.

The version thug posted isn't the original version, Europeans don't smoke marlboros.
