I think combining live instruments and synths/keyboards and drum machines sound tight. DJ quik is probably the best at doing that type of shit. Live bass and guitars over a bangin ass programmed drum beat with some synths sound sicc.

@G-ro - Those dudes are putting down too! Its all about that funky shit. Live guitars make a hellava difference in a song. Guitars bring shit to life and give it that feeling.

@multiple= that's right folx, I think that on every DJ Quik cd except on the last one (i can be wrong) all guitars are played by G man stan or fonksta bacon (and sometimes bass too)
but you still need machines to keep some real mobb sound
