WHO KNOWS ALOT ABOUT BULLDOGS?

Im assuming English Bulldogs right? I know they are a breed that has to be handled very delicately. They are probably the most costly out of any breeds. They are great family pets. The neighbor around the corner from me has a little boy and girl along with a male and female English Bulldog. They are extremely expensive. My only advice is take lots of time reading up on them. Dont confuse them with the American Bulldog. Those are the american pitbull terrier looking breed with the body mass of a rottweiler. Im thinking you want the lil braccycephalic with the short legs and pudgy body. If you want a savage dog that looks similar to a bulldog but smaller, I recommend a boston terrier or a pug, they have basically the same build but smaller versions and are great for little ones....
fucc english bulldogs they are an abomination to the breed....being bred for eauropean shows in which the smaller the dog the better it was they have been reduced to genetic adnormalities...they develop breathing problens from small windpipes.....they have hip and knee problems.....they shit and fart a whole fuccin lot more than the average dog......and they can have heat strokes in the summer and are real sensitive to the cold in the winter.....i have actually seen some that are on respirator machines with masks to help them breath and some that have a skateboard thing they need to get around cuz thier hips went out on them......they require as much attention as a patient in a hospital and live an average of 8 years maybe more if you take good care of em.....some die as young as 4-5 years old so i wouldnt recommend them for kids.....
American bulldogs are the shit but they are hella expensive for a pure bred....if you raise it around kids then it will be a family dog if you train it to kill then thas what itll do......same as most dogs no matter the breed.....
although some lines of pures have been bred for bulldog shows and such and are descendants of the original bull and bear baiting dogs so its in thier nature to want to use thier instincts but its usually only with an agressive animal or person and usually to protect thier home and family.....
it depends on why your kids dont like the pitts.....cuz buly pups are pretty similar to pitt pups.....the bulldog will get much bigger than a pitt but they are usually more calm as they age but the young ones behave similar to a young pitt......if you got kids thatll walk em and play with them a lot then they should do good cuz theyll let all thier energy out....but if they sit around the house all day they get bored and thas when they start tearin up shit and actin stupid for attention.....

my mom use to breed them we still have one but yeah there excellent famliy dogs just got to get used to the snoring and drooling and u cant leave them outside in the heat too long or theyll die, i mean thats with any dog but there real sensitive to heat and there real high mainteanace dogs and a cheap one will run u about 1200$ but there coool ass dogs i wish my mom still bred them
