Come on dogg, Paul has a dope supporting cast!! Wets, Chandler, & Stojakovic are all havin dope seasons!! Paul is still the MVP for this team but trust me he has plenty of help!! Got Em!!!
Coming into this season did you know who david west was? wasnt tyson chandler on the limb of being a bust with a high contract? wasnt peja coming off knee surgery? they traded away their starting 2 guard in desmond mason. so they had the most question marks coming into the season. but paul and byron scott are making them legit players by getting the most out of them. so now his supporting cast has plenty of help all of the sudden. while lebron is still primilary on his own.

id rank
1. Lebron
2. Tie between Kobe and Paul (got to wait to see the 2nd half of the season, but i'd go with kobe right now) kobe was expected to get traded and the lakers were to go down in flames now all of a sudden they are a top team in the west. Paul and the hornets last year with 2 games out of the playoffs and that was after chris paul missed a lot of games due to injury, as well as peja and west at the end of the season.

Well first off I didnt question u about LeBron, I know he does it on his own!! 2ndly I dont know how much u follow the league or even college hoop, but I know who West is, been knowin who he is!! I picked him for player of the year his last year at Xavier!! I follow sports heavy so I knew what he could do!! New Orleans wouldve been dope last year, but they had the most injuries in the league last year!! I had New Orleans in the playoffs before the season stared cause I knew if they stayed healthy they would be good!! Chandler just needed a change of scenery, and he actually did good last year also!! So I dont know what u are talkin about!! It was a matter of time before West put it together, cause dude has hella talent!! And he has been good for over 2 years now!! So again Paul has alot of help, but I aint takin nuthin away from him, but I still think Kobe is the MVP!! Got Em!!

you were a handful of people who knew who west was. he was my late fantasy pick up last year and i picked him this year again and everyone in the chat was like who the fuck is david west. i follow pro heavy not college where there is 200 teams and like 500 players which changes every year. if they matter in college then ill hear bout them in the NBA, usually. i follow college but not do or die until it comes time for the tourny

U may be right about alot of folks, but Im speakin for me! So I am defending me sayin that Paul has help!! The last 3 years for West

2005-06 17 Pts & 7 Boards
2006-07 18 Pts & 8 Boards
2007-08 19 Pts & 9 Boards

Dude aint just jumped on the scene!! He is just gettin recognition now cause they winning! That will happen when u have a healthy Chandler, Stojakovic, Paul etc...... Again Paul is their MVP, but by no means does he have no help like LeBron!!! And I love college hoop dog!! If u wanna know whos good and what your pro team may need its good to follow so u can know the draft and not have to guess shit!! But to each is own!! Got Em!!

wtf you act like david west has been a nobody until this year...he's been a really good player since 05-06. 17 and 7, then 18 and 8, now he's at 20 and 9. anyone who follows basketball should know/have known who david west is.

edit: i see czar just said basically the same thing

as of right now i'd say LeBron James gets it because he is carrying his injured team and still winning big games granted they just loss. but when it's all said and gdone KG will most likely get it specially if he comes back strong and plays the 2nd half like he did the 1st. i mean i never noticed how much heart he has till i see him every game and he slowly became my fav ball player just by the way he plays and the emotion he plays every single night

His supporting cast is too good with Pierce and Allen there.. If New Orleans didn't have Paul where would they be? If the Lakers didn't have Kobe, where would they be? If the Cavs didn't have LeBron, where would they be? Now the Celtics, without Garnett, they are still a pretty good team..

It's Most VALUABLE Player, not best player.
