^^^^^^from the bay but lived in Houston. Still he's still from the Bay even though hella cats hate on him for making cupcake music. I thought his last 2 albums were really solid. I can play both of them all the way through without skipping a track. If we're talking about modern time. I would have to say E-40. I don't think any other artist who actually lives and breeds in the Bay can top 40 at this point.
