Yesterday I went to my job and for the second week in a row I dont have any hours. But everyone else does. I tlked to the boss and his punk ass said, no your fine its just slow right now. This prick brings in 2000 a week and he acts like he knows me fuck him. If i had a criminal mind i would rob his bitch ass, but i dont so i wont, how many people on here understand what the fuck i mean.

You might be getting laid off man. Sometimes employers don't have the balls or the legal backing to fire you so they do shit to make you quit, that happened at my first job.

Everyone listen up! If you are going to focus on a career job, or one that is going to support you for many years to come, make sure it is a union job. I can not begin to tell you how much you will benefit from the union, you have to expierence it yourself. Then again, there are good and bad unions; UFCW 1288 & 588 are the shit. I have a set minimum hours they can work me, they can't fire me unless I do something outrageous or redundant, I pay $35/mo for full medical/dental etc., paid vacation, floaters, triple time on holidays, time and a half on sundays, time and a half for over time, the list goes on and on! The most important thing is they can not fire you without just cause.

Anyone with a union? What do you think? I know there are some lazy unions out there that don't fight for you, but there are a lot of really good ones.

I'm stuck at a retail store with no union... they change my hours and days off. So sometimes I'll get two days-in-a-row off and sometimes split days. I've spoke to my manager about the situation, but he says that I "have a problem with authority" and that I "have little or no regard toward management." And since he's "told me what he thinks" about me, he's cut my hours. I will have to speak to him again to see if he's implying that I leave or what's going through his mind.

7 months ago I would of been totally against this idea but... join the military. I just graduated from OSUTraining the first week of March. And so far this shits cool as hell. They give me a free place to live where I don't have to worry about payin for pg&e, water, gas, etc. I get off at like 4 everyday. The people in the community are cool. I get a military discount on all types of shit from car registration, resturants, strip clubs, movie theatres, etc. You pay no tax on the base so if something says it's $4.99 and you hand that fool a five you get a penny back (I'm still amazed by it). I pay like 20 bucks for a carton of cigarettes. Besides showing repect to your superiors there really ain't no drama at the work place and if there is you can always go above somebody's head to fix shit. But most of your superiors have been to war and shot and killed fools so there pretty laid back anyway cuz petty work place drama just ain't that big of deal after you been to war.

I used to be a model technician for a pretty mothafuckin prestigious dental lab and I went thru bullshit on a daily basis. I joined the military cuz I had run out of options. But now that I'm here fuck a nine to five, tho some people like that shit it ain't for me no more. But if you like sitting behind a desk they offer that also. I told one of my younger homeboys who was thinkin about joining after I went to Basic not to do it until I graduated and could see what it was like for myself. I told him it was cool when I was finished and he goes in at the end of this month.

Ay and if you bored you definitely won't be after you join and start your training. If you fat... problem solved, if you too skinny... problem solved, if you can't run... definitely problem solved.

Anyways just an option or an idea Been Drinkin. Not everybody gonna agree with me on this one.
