Who do You belive is God? is there more than 1?

If so who is the Supreme?

I belive there is only one God, His Name is Jesus.
I dont believe in Saints that are to be Prayed to, it is against the Ten Commandments under Idolerism. i dont believe Mary died a virgin. Jesus Had Brothers and In the Bible it says later ofter Jesus was born, Joseph "knew her" which is Biblical for having sex. So there is no Virgin Mary to pray to. Besides in any Scripture that Jesus and Mary where to gether He never gave her Praise nor did he ever say to pray to here or ANY one else for that matter to get to Him.

Just dropping some Theology off real quick.

To All Catholics, Do you know who Constantine is? What he did for the Roman Cathlic church?

Lets Discuss. But come with Knowledge of You Beliefs.

We pretty much share the same theology, as far as the bible goes.

The New testament makes it clear that there is a Holy Trinity consisting of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and The Father.
They are seperate beings.
One way to look at it is this way,
The Father had the thought,
Jesus created it,
and The Holy Spirit keeps it together.
In other words the Father is the Godhead,
Jesus is the living God,
and the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God.
God is like water/H20,
one hydrogen and 2 Oxygen atoms make water.

Remember that Jesus always praised the Father, and even conversed with him.
So to answer your question, there is only one God. The Father....

As for praying to Saints, that's bullshit.
Praying to Mary, I've yet to see anything in the New testament suggesting that.
Did she die a virgin?
Haven't got that far yet but my mother told me that it's in there, the fact that she died a virgin.
Gotta keep readin to find out.

There's a lot of negative stuff associated with the Catholic church, while at the same time they have some legit characterizations.
For instance the Deuterocanonical Books who were pulled out of the bible by Martin Luther. The arguments favor the Catholic church, it's pretty deep though. Then they are the only Christians who have knowledge about dealing with demonic possesions.

I'm just givin the devil his due....

I dont think when it is said the Virgin Mary that it implies that she was always a virgin. What it implies is that when Jesus entered her body she was a virgin and that Joesph had nothing to do with the conception of Jesus.

As far as I know there is only one God.

and the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God.
God is like water/H20,
one hydrogen and 2 Oxygen atoms make water.

I see it like this, yeah there is one God but just like snow, rain and sleet all different forms of the same thing, like the Trinity. Yeah they are different but at the same time their ONE thing. Water. So in my opinion God can take different form but never looses it's esscence.

And as far as Constatne goes he influenced the growth of Christianity into a world religion.

Yup, one God, His name is KRSNA.

As God is unlimited, He is known by unlimited names. There are numberless demigods, angels, saints, sages, demons, jivas (individual souls), and all of these are existing within the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

I dont believe in a Trinity.

The same God of Old testament is ruler in the new Testament.
Yet Jesus says He is the ONE God. Every one is to pray to him.

I look at it like this. It is three personas or personalities of God.

I am a father, Son and uncle. Yet I am the same person.

God the father is How he Is in Creation. The Son is him manifest in flesh through the Virgin.
Holy Spirit or holy Ghost is his Movement on us.

Never in the old testament does it mention more than one god, nor does it state a TRINITY. It does say that God does not want you to pray to ANYONE else, so why would he say to Pray to Jesus?

All the pwer of the Godhead dwells in Jesus Visually. He is the one , Every knee shall bow Every tongue Confess.

Any ways good feed back.

Gizmo,

Who was Jesus praying to right before Judas betrayed him?
Jesus also foretold the coming of the Holy Spirit, who was to praise him and inspire the Gospels.
Not that the Holy Spirit wasn't always there.
Jesus talked about him as if though it was another being.

This is all theology though, and one must read the ENTIRE bible to find the true answer. Me? I'm still reading it.

Saints aren't to be looked at as a God. The Virgin Mary isn't to be looked at as a God. Saints are simply very holy people. People that devoted there whole life to God. If you ask me a very good role model. As far as I know, nobody prays to saints or virgin mary. They might pray for there comfort or help you can say, but not idleize (sp?). Many christians other than catholics always seem to not understand this. Either they want something to hold against us or they really don't understand, I don't know. The Holy Trinity is simply, The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. Jesus even says go out and baptize in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. If you weren't baptized with these words, then you weren't baptized. Yes the word Trinity isn't in the bible. It's just a word that sums up all three. There is only one God and he has a son named Jesus. Jesus our Lord and savior.

A Saint in the bible is anyone who converted to Christianity.

Where does it say Pray to Peter for Comfort? to pray to the virgin mary to intervene for us? It doesnt. Fact is, and ask any Pishop or Cardinal or any one else, The catholic church Prays more to saints than to god. What about the lil statues of Virgin mary being held up by Jesus? Is that not showing Jesus is Exalting His mom? Do you know where that statue originated from?
Read the bible and read about Nimrod. Same Picture of him holding up his Mom/Lover. Nimrod is also one of the gods Constintine worshiped when he Converted to Christianity, instead of fully converting He mixed religions in order to not lose Political standings. Its all in the History books.

It says "CALL ON ME< Jesus"

As far as baptizm goes If hesays in the name... Whats the Name?

If I gave you a check and signed it Father Son Brother can you cash it?
No They aint names they are titles.

Find one time any of the Apostles baptized Saying" In the name of the father sone holy ghost".

Never will you find it. You will find Several time it being said "Baptize in the Name of Jesus". Why? cause thats the name.
Acts 2:38.

Why is it said in the New testament No other god is above Jesus if God the father is Above Jesus? Why is it stated He is King of Kings Lord of Lords?

The one thing that you have to see, When Jesus came down to earth He did everything that he wanted us to do, e.i. "Do in this Manner". so when he prays he is showing us. He died for sins yet had none. He was Baptized yet was already pure and holy, He died yet is God Eternal, He rased into heaven yet is in every place at all times.

He was showing us.

Cameron PLEASE show me the Scripture that Show the Apostles baptizing in that way.

I have read the whole Bible about 4 times, i have also studied Biblical theology, Old Testament Survay and New Testament Survey.

I sure will. I don't know the whole bible by memory. Therefore when I get home I will find it for you. I will show you were Jesus himself tells the apostles to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Not in the name of Jesus. Is this the way you were baptized?

Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

Act 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

Act 19:5 When they heard [this], they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

The ONE TRUE G-d is Yeshua Hamashiach, none of this allah, krsna, buddha, or whatever else crap that people are preaching today.
That's bullshit mayn. If there is ONE TRUE G-d, then there is also ONE FALSE G-d.

Bhagavad-gita Ch. 10.12-13:

Arjuna speaking to Krsna: "You are the Supreme Brahman, the ultimate, the supreme abode and purifier, the Absolute Truth and the eternal divine person. You are the primal God, transcendental and original, and You are the unborn and all-pervading beauty. All the great sages such as Narada, Asita, Devala, and Vyasa proclaim this of You, and now You Yourself are declaring it to me."

Krsna: "I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who know this perfectly engage in My devotional service and worship Me with all their hearts."

Arjuna speaking to Krsna: "You are the original Personality, the Godhead. You are the only sanctuary of this manifested cosmic world. You know everything, and You are all that is knowable. You are above the material modes. O limitless form! This whole cosmic manifestation is pervaded by You!"

Bahahhahaaa... What are you potna, 13 years old? Are you so insecure about your beliefs that the best thing you can do is pop shit instead of discuss the issue?

Krsna: "I am never manifest to the foolish and unintelligent. For them I am covered by My eternal creative potency (maya), and so the deluded world knows Me not, who am unborn and infallible."
