i do that shit all the time cus if i left my OG copy in the car some shiesty ass will take it out of my car and im out of the $12-$15 dollars that i payed for it and i do it so it wont get all scratched up.
I upload them all into my computer, shrinkwrap the originals, then I mp3 5 or 6 discs worth of music onto a Data CD. I also burn a copy on a Disc to Disc burner, that way I have an exact copy, istead of just MP3's
You're a fool if you dont buy 2 copies, open one and burn a copy, and keep the other sealed..... (and people wonder why i get brittle about high cd prices)
yeah i was burning onto cdr's at first, then when i heard about the high capacity MP3 players i went to that. rit now i've got a Nomad Zen with a 30GB hard drive. so far it has 5645 tracks from 358 cds/albums and I still have a little over 8 GB left to go! they're supposed to have a 60 GB version already. i just use a cassette adaptor and pretty much carry it around with me everywhere i go (it's about the size of a cassette walkman), no need to bring any cdr's and the quality is as good as cd (depends on how you record/rip your cd's). IMO this is the way to go.....my 2 centz :devious:
no doubt....my ride gots nothing but burn cds....i have a bad habit of tossing cd and they get all scratched up....so nothing but burnt cds is the way 2 go....if they get jacked no problem, if they scratched no problem....
