Who heard E-40's new show on KMEL today?

It was o.k...He played alot of playlist stuff and some Bay shit. But like I figured, he kind of only played things that he had something to do with or in other words that gave him some added shine. This has been my problem with E40 for years. 40 has had the spotlight for over a decade and has never pulled anyone outside of his family (literaly) up to help them get into a place of power or atleast recognition. I like 40 as an artist, respect him as a business man, but as a leader of the Bay he fails do to selfishness...think about it like this...as much as 40 hollas out fashizzi and the amount of pub he got from that, he (40) never gave Keak his credit. That could have helped put keak on the map nationaly. Same with Philthy Phil and "Playa Hata"...I'm tellin you it's a cutthroat game and 40 plays by those same rules.
I have seen 40 give credit to Keak and Phil, but only in local magizines...when it comes to those national magizines he only talks about how the game is stealin HIS slang and what artist outside of the Bay that he is and or has worked with. I have thought this for quite sometime, but when you give your opinion on a artist a popular as 40 it is automaticaly translated as hate. I listend to that show and of the songs that I heard he was on damn near every local one. I am sorry to say this but in order for the bay to fully get the props it deserves the nation has to see the Bay for more then just E-40 and his gang of slang words. I look at it like this...If this were sports 40 would be like our Karl Malone...he is good now, but his best days are behind him, but we all still want him to win that championship ring. But as in Utah with Karl Malone he did not get his West Coast Conf. team a championship because of the big bad East and it was time for Utah to start over...so they "allowed" him to go. Same with 40 we all still like him, but that's mainly due to Ric Rock's beats...His best work is the old click shit and Mail Man...there are ALOT of new artist out here who deserve the chance to shine and I think 40 got the power as a Boss to a. help um out...and b. shut up and coming artist down. I would rather see Keak or Quinn or Frontline and they New Bay shit or hell even ALL OF THEM AT THE SAME TIME take the crown as the new voice and face of the Bay. Sorry, but it's time for 40 to step aside.
You show me a leader and I'll show you someone who has helped the people (not just his little camp). The Bay looks up to 40 and in return he should help more then his cousins and potnas. I wouldn't exspect this from anyone, but 40 has proclaimed himself the ambassitor of the Bay and used alot of other peoples shit to gain his National status. Poppin collas, "you smell me", Fashezzi, Ohh Boy, Playa Hata...these are kind of the things that make 40 outside of N. Cal. and they were all other peoples shit! When they ask him about about he makes it seem like they nation is stealing HIS game, when in actuality he is taking youngstaz slang in the Bay and runnin wit it just like them East Coast niggas, but 40 gets a pass because he is from here? To me that shit is even worse....I just see how we got so much talent out here and 40 does have the power to atleast say to somebody "these dudes got gas", but insteed he keeps pumpin himself and his decade long choke hold on the Bay.
well i do believe on rappers ball he gave props to 3x krazy. " my niggaz 3x krazy lace me told me how to say fasheeze" yall tripping he gives hella probs to everyone doing something that is positive in the bay. yall cant judge his show off of 1 showing. and if he shouts out everyone that he coo with it will take for ever. man san quinn, messy, b-legit, d-shot, guce, rbl, celski, yukmouth, num, bart, agerman, keak. shit the list goes on and not everyone want to hear this guy give shout out for 20 minutes. yall trippen i think he doing a good job on leading the way for the bay. he gets on people albums and he also have them on his. i dont think he looking out for himself. if he wasnt he wouldnt have any bay area artist featured on his album. he trying to bring his nigs up with him
i've seen and heard E-40 give respect where respect was due on many occassions. when people think of the bay E-40 is probably the 1st person that comes to mind. i dont even see why niggas be trippin off what word came from where and who u never know the niggas who made up fa sheezy, playa hata, and all this otha shit prolly got it from someone b4 them as well as E-40 got it from them i could be sittin in my house right now on the phone and make up a clean ass word and 5 months from now the shit leak around the bay and im sittin here sayin nigga i made that up and E-40 and hella otha people on the radio spittin it and sayin it thats how desperate the bay is for some spotlight we gotta claim niggas is stealing our slang and our style to make up for what aint workin out for us. personally i dont care about who made up what and who did what this bay shit everyone gone adapt to it and everyone gone ride wit it i dont see no copyrights on trends and words so whomever usin it so be it. we lucky enough to have a nigga like 40 to get the shit out there regardless if he gettin all the credit for it for open the doors for the bay along with short and many other rappers, i know if anyone else here was in 40 shoes they would be pluggin they family the way he is too, just makin sure him and his niggas eat right. i could never see frontline or any of them other niggas mentioned being the voice of the bay what have they done, them niggas aint even drop a album yet they hot yeah but who anywhere else in the nation actually going to take them seriously until they atleast get an album out there and lightweight get known. let 40 keep doin what he do it was his 1st show
40 Water is my big O.G! A nigga couldn't pay me to talk bad about the big homie... I grew up on E-40, plus he a real nigga that wants to see young cats like myself, Keak and all the local superstars get on.. BUT what everybody gotta understand is ( U GOTTA PAY YOUR DUES).... one man can only do so much...
