it was an old 95 freestyle not a battle but it was BIG L and JAY-Z, i told mah boy big l ripped the shit, but he thinks jay-z had the better verse, yeah jay-z's style was better back then, but i dont think he could fuck with big l, if ya'll heard it, who ya'll think or who was ya'll feeling more?

Jay was spittin hella fast back then & he came coo on that cipher but in my opinion BigL killed it!!! By far some of the siccest ryhmes I have ever heard.

if your talkin abuot the 7 minutes freestyle..... which i think u are........ big L tore jay-z apart.......

jay-z came cool but he fucked his shit up at the end of one of his spits..... maybe he was really freestyle and L wasnt...... cuz L spit hella recycled lines and all his shit sounds memorized....... i wonder if any of his flows were really freestyles

yeah thas the one i'm talking about, where jay says "when rappers bite off me they find out i'm hard to swallow" some shit like that but it was sick, but yeah thats the one
