I heard it was re-released without those interviews. The first edition has 'em. I could be wrong though. How's the DVD?

I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS THAT BAD. IT WAS GOOD TO SEE D-MOE GET INTERVIEWED BECAUSE YOU RARELY SEE THAT CAT ON MOST OF THESE DVD'S, AND I LIKED THE OUTSIDE CONCERT WITH RAS KASS, SAFIR AND MONEY-B.

I made this post a while back asked dude he responed all saideways...search the archives awax explains the reason in a post somewhere something about someone buying out the dvd & cutting that part out or something amongst those lines.

If I have to spell it out for you guys: I FUCKED UP BY INVOLVING MYSELF IN SOMEONE ELSE'S BEEF. By putting it out that footage, I would be dragging myself into the middle of something I did not want to be in the middle of. It wasnt a rap beef, IT WAS A STREET BEEF. And mufuckas in street beefs get merked. That's why that segment never came out. I have to see these people and deal with the ramifications of my actions. So it is what it is. My personal well being comes before the enjoyment you get over seeing two grown men talk shit about each other. So lesson learned on my part.

Thizz iz, dont speak on what you don't know about. Logically speaking, most actions are reactions to other peoples actions if you catch my drift.

Lastly, the Bay Area Block Stars DVD was the first time I ever picked up a video camera, much less put together a film - honestly it's harder than you think! I didn't understand the 1st thing about filmmaking, shit like b-roll. Now I do - I'm a film studies major, so I've been learning a lot. Got a new DVD coming out Jan.9 that's shittin on the 1st Block Stars. I'll post the cover soon. Got a way better camera too so the film quality is excellent.

and city hall mighta got $2
the retailer got the rest

so ultimately i'm not the reason for inflated pricing. if it were up to me they'd sell everywhere for $12. but a retailer once told me, once i buy it from you, i can sell that shit for however much i want to.
