Who are the best Emo bands??? Indie & Mainstream!!!

Even tho I'm not all up on emo along with their trends; anyone here who listens to some emo more or less, who ya think are the best emo bands from both indie or mainstream??? In terms of puttin out consistent quality records & not bubblegumish teeny-bop pop-influenced bullshit!! The reel original emo bands particularly the legendary ones cuz I might check some of them out...

AFI isn't emo and I'd be here all day trying to explain to you that what you more then likely think are emo bands really aren't.

Bands that originated emo are mid 80's DC hardcore bands like rights of spring, embrace and dag nasty. All are awesome but don't sound anything like the emo shit today.

I like early-mid 1990's emo better then some of the ones that started it. I do like those bands too though.

Native Nod, 1.6 Band, Indian Summer, Heroin, Mohinder, Portraits of Post, etc. Stuff like that.

I like Glassjaw more then most of the ones I listed too, but they aren't even remotely a "real" emo band in any sorts.

Looking forward to the new ablum as well, when it comes out that is.

I love all their stuff personaly. Daryl has a dope ass voice IMO.

I want to hear the studio verion of "You Think You're John Fucking Lennon." I love how the chorus sounds.

I've heard of some of those bands ya mentioned and some of those bands have been around in the 80s-90s & yea, no doubt the emo from yesterday sounded better than today so like always fuck today!!
