Football is the hardest to coach in my eyes!! I mean plain and simple unlike other sports there are to different personnals for offense and defense, and coordinating both offense and defense is alot tougher than in any sport!! Football is defintely the hardest to coach!! GOT EM!!!

disagreed czar, NHL has the line system where they have to match up players constantly and teams are often outmatched sometimes. Key players get hurt alot and it's hard to replace them.

NHL? Aw hell no...... It might be the hardest sport to play, but definately not to coach. Probably one of the easiest to coach truthfully....I dont think it comes close to the duties that an NFL coach carries......Terminology, playbook, gameplanning, all the assistant coaches, salary cap, 40+ team roster and the list goes on......

For the NHL, yeah, they create lines and matchups and shit, but for real, I could probably do that......The outcome of hockey games has more to do with what the players do on the ice than what the coaches do.....Its not like they can call tiemouts every 5 minutes and call plays cause in hockey u only get 1 timeout per game.......You never hear a commentator say after an NHL win, "Wow Bob, that coach really made some good calls out there today"

NHL,The play follows the puck,all you have to wory about is a line change,and everyone runs the same type of plays.

Football is hands down the hardest to coach,especially in college,where you can have to prepare for a wishbone offense one week,and a west coast offense the next.get real.

DEFINITLEY N-H-L. U GOT LINE CHANGES EVERY 20 SECONDS AND ABOUT THAT MUCH TIME TO DECIDE WHO TO PUT OUT ON THE ICE, AGAINST WHATEVER LINE THE OTHER TEAM PUTS OUT THERE. MAYBE IF YA'LL WATCHED A LITTLE MORE HOCKEY YOU'D KNOW IT'S THE TOUGHEST TO COACH.

Again, no way in hell....Man, the lines are already made up before the game even starts, so thats not a big deal......Maybe they'll switch a player here or there but it is not hard to do.....Secondly, line changes happen every 40-50 seconds, not 20......Ive played hockey since I was 8 years old and watched enough to know that it aint that hard to coach......The hardest to play, not the hardest to coach.

there are no coach's in boxing............there is a trainer an his is just that.........train the fighter......


football is the hardest to coach, but I cant call between college an pro though.......college coach's have to go around the country recruitin in the off season......its a neverending job


an baseball is the hardest like Bam said, no other sport could have a 300 avarage an call it a good year
