Wtf is going on this year?

So far im only looking forward to the new god of war..

All the other games i wanna play dont even have release dates yet. What games are u guys looking out for?

Far cry 5 looks like a rental, looking forward to days gone, crack down 3 looks like it will a big improvement over the last game. State of decay 2 looks ok, metro exodus is a rental, read dead 2 (will it ever drop?) Ff7 remake is in the same boat as RD2.

Other than Red Dead 2 not a whole lot....

They slackin this year on the games. Been playing nothing but old shit lately. And the homies all been on that Fortnite grind hahaha

Companies are moving towards releasing unfinished games and charging you more for "new" content patches every few months rather than just giving you the entire game and working on a new game.

They're trying to stretch one game out for like 2+ years now and just charging you for more of the game they developed a couple of years earlier.

There's going to be less and less big game releases so they can just milk those few games.

Rockstar for example used to drop a new game yearly, but now they've milked GTAV for 5 years now and still have another 7-8 months until Red Dead Redemption 2 finally drops. More studios seem to be going that Rockstar route.

We still play chess tho if you need to get beat in something but the best game going is Madden MUT if you can catch up, next might be that NHL or any contact sport then their ain't no bitching on 20$ bet games

This year? I would argue this current generation of consoles has been lackluster imo. Surely nothing like what we had with the PS2 or PS3.

Street Fighter 5 was the biggest culprit of this. When the game was released it was missing Arcade mode and Story Mode. They have us buy season passes to get all the updates. They are quadrupling their profits at the end of the day. It's a joke.
