For a while you couldn't make any money off of selling from the boards so you had to go with eBay. I'd rather sell on here and not pay eBay and fees, but the demand wasn't there...

The last three deals I tried to do with people I was in negotiations and then out of nowhere they just threw it on Ebay without even telling me.

It's seriously crazy how times have changed...

I think the other part of the thing that ruined it was people would hold auctions and because they were not making the money they thought was wanted they would extend the auction and extra day or two and people were getting mad about it.

plus your cds get a lot more exposure on Ebay. People are trying to get too good a deal on here and most of us want top dollar for our rares.

I am a big consumer of CDs, whether on here or on Ebay. I buy CDs when there is a PRICE next to them. Everybody on here puts up a list and says "Make Offers". I would make offers and it was either not enough or they would tag on an incredible shipping amount to make up what they really wanted. If you put prices next to them and they are albums I already don't have, then I am more likely to buy. The cheaper they are, the more my interest is peaked. I go on Ebay more now because there is a price on there already. If you are setting prices and no one is buying, the prices might be too high. If a price seems too high, I'm just going to try to find it on half.com or Ebay.
