NOPE..... Your both wrong. U assume it started in LA, probly becuase you see hella movies and shit, but it actully started in Northern Cali, Hollywood saw it and jacked us and claimed it for themselves just like they try to do with all our bay shit. Low Riders originated in Northern Cali just like da sideshow. Sideshows started in Oakland, were Lowriding start thou?
yeah i have to say cities that you always hear the old school g's mention they would cruise in. you still see those towns now the same homies been crusin since back in the day cities and town like San Jose, The whole Salinas Valley, Modesto etc.. towns like that remind me of towns with hella lowrider culture.

My cousin by marriage father was one of the first dudes out there when lowriders became mainstream in tha 60s . It was originated out here in sanjo and northern cali. But it also had sum dudes from la also I believe my cousins pops was originaly from la. But lived in san jo. Either way it was a northern cali thing most def. Ever watch boulevard nights? It was a movie made in the 70s about the 50s cruising scene in modesto where it was filmed by none other than mr star wars george lucas. Yeeeeeeee. But to answer your question san jo.
