when you buy cds

you like to go with somethin u know u gonna like, cuz u know most the songs or do you pick up a cd by a artist u like or heard things by and hope to be surprised.

like yesterday i was at rasputins and it came down to dmx "its dark and hell is hot" a cd i have owned 2-3 times which has been stolen all times or Husalah "Dope Guns and Religion"

i opted with husalah cuz i remembered back in the summer or when he first got locked some guys i knew were hypin him up. thought id pick up the cd, havent listenned to all of it yet but first few songs are dope.

i check out cds sometimes on artists that i hear features on other cds but it depends if i already know a cd is coming out that im anticipating. i end up at rasputins prob 2-4 times a week though so i just get a feelin like i guess ill cop this cd.

I buy random CD's pretty often. I don't think its smart but I'll be browsing and something old and therefore cheap will catch my eye so I'll get it. But as a rule these days I mostly only buy shit I've already heard and feel deserves my support.

i will buy a cd if i like it. it doesnt matter who the artist is. but if i havent heard the album of some new up and comer i wont buy it because i dont know what kind of quality he putting out. but if i listen to it and like it ill swoop it. but albums ill buy when they first come out are people i know that are consistent
