I haven't checked the video yet. I learned about the Moors from a couple of years ago when I visited the Alhambra in Grenada (when in Spain and you like culture this is a must see).

But I recently found out they where muslim and the whole of Spain has been muslim for quite some time..
Will check the video.

Muslim Arabs have not forgotten that historic period of Spain. Its evident in the Arabic language that Spanish has had influence on it, and vice versa.

Thanks for the link man.

Muslims were really innovative during that period , but why ?

Im not trying to diss anyone, but in my opinion the muslims stole credit for those inventions and castles etc. from the local population.

And European Immigrants didn't steal credit from all the great philosophers, politicians, and Native Americans through time?

Btw, I never recall during that documentary a person saying that this was all Arab Muslims thoughts or creations, they clearly pointed out over and over again how Roman architecture in the town originally, and Greek philosophies stowed away in Alexandria, Egypt influenced how they built up the city and ran the social services for the people.
