Is it really When Diplomacy fails??? What are your views on Bush's attempts to create support for war thru politics? Did he try his best with evidence? Did he try to make it seem just and right to do it while recognising other countries beliefs??? Did he do his best towards the most opposing countries? Etc... do you think he did the best he could to get his war backed????

At this point I'm leaning toward the opinion that this is the begining of WW3. Its clear Bush had no intention of doing anything else but going to War. As usual we the masses dont have all the info but my opinion is that there is a SERIOUS OIL SHORTAGE and that in order for America to remain on top by itself the US has no choice but to destroy the Taliban to get the oil pipeline and now to snatch up Iraqs oil. I think this is the source of the Russian and others reluctance to agree with Bush on this. Just take a minute to think why would Bush risk his chance at re-election by getting us into this WAR? After 9-11 Bush was almost guaranteed a victory in 2004 but now his chances are getting slimmer. I THINK Bush's PuppetMasters are pulling his strings to get the oil now and take the world over Tommorow.

what could gwb do if saddam laid out all his shit? if he just gave all his weapons up. what right would gwb have? none. i would have a serious problem then. but thats not the case. saddam has 48 hours to give peace a chance. he will not be leader of iraq regardless of the end to this. why not spare his people?

That's exactly how I feel. If Saddam has any heart, he will leave Iraq cause there is no way that he is going to defeat the U.S. This will save so many lives. Although I am against the war, the fact is that it is going to happen. Bush has his mind set to and there is nothing Saddam can do but leave.

I doubt the USA is invincible^^^ not by iraq itself, but people are talking. They say Saddam may hold out until Arab nations can save his ass.

I think he did poor in his diplomacy.

whats up blight.

its really simple. everybody keeps talking about peace, and how we need to WORK for peace WITH iraq. when the truth is, the ball has been in iraqs court for 12 years. he has had unlimited opportunity for sanctions to be lifted. numerous opportunities to retain his power (which we were foolish for allowing after the last war) saddam can avoid war quite easily. yet all the focus and negativity is aimed at america and bush in particular.

Yeah. I guess he did have a while, i dont see why we didnt act alone before??? 12 years??? We have a different agenda if you ask me. But yeah, now i guess it is up to him. Since we left ourselves and them no choice.
