yeah, the west did fall off. most mainstream music is east coast or dirty south. i think it cause theres nobody to carry the west, the way ppl like pac and snoop were able able to. lil jon did it for the south. snoop dogg just straight up sucks now, so he cant do it. dr dres all about helping other artists. that game guy cant do it cause even though he reps the west, hes still just some guy under 50s wing, and plus hes not all that good. i honestly think if anyone could of done it, it would of been mac dre. he was getting more popular by the day, and that whole hyphy gimmick would catch on a national level, but it would just take someone to sell it right, and mac dre woulda been perfect. he just had that charisma and rock star aura about him that everyone, no matter where they were from, loved (a few ppl i know that dont even like rap, watched treal tv and just became mac dre fans cause they pretty much liked what he was like). but that cant happen now. the west'll eventuall get national attention again, its just a matter of when
