IMO CTS's are played out, like Esclades.. I like them at first, but now there nothing special. Im in your same situation.. ive got a 04 Mustang Cobra.. love the car.. But i want something bigger a nice luxious 4 door sedan. If you can strech it a couple thousand.. id go for something nicer.. Im really liking the Lexus - GS 300 http://www.lexus.com/models/gs/price_options.html push start ignition, rain censored windsheild, hella shit. Or the IS300, there a more sporty 4 door sedan thats cheaper. The only think else i was lookin at was maybe a Chrysler 300 and make it hella nice.

like dude above you said the cts is kinda weak... lemme ask you a couple questions...
why are you tryin to spend 40 racks on a car?
why does it gotta be new, certified preowned vehicles are a much better value and a lot of the times the warranty is actually longer...
i sold cars for a long time so i am not pulling any of this shit outta my ass...
when you buy a car, you should always buy the least options on the most expensive car if you are looking for a decent resale vaue... example... a fully loaded 3 series bmw is not gonna resale for much more than a normal 3 series bmw, but a 5series is gonna sell for a lot more....
i think the best bang for your buck vehicle out right now is a 300c...
read my post on here to help you purchase your car correctly

use kbb.com to find out the invoice of the car you want to buy... it'll show you the invoice and the msrp.... next search online for rebates... sometimes they'll give you an extra grand for financing through their financing compay for a couple months so it might save you money to take advantage, like put 38 g'z down and finance 2 @ 7.5%apr for 2 months to save a grand....
heres an example, i am making up these numbers..
caddy cts msrp35,000
cts invoice33,000
rebates3000
i would say offer a grand above invoice minus rebates, so in this case i would offer 31k plus fees
make sure you do the kbb.com thing right because the options might fuck you up if you dont add them in to your total figure...

If I was buying a Cadillac I would swoop one up 1-2 years old with low miles. Cadillacs are brutal when it comes to depreciation, I would try to lessen the blow as much as possible...

Cars are such bad investments, especially new ones.
