let's be real tho'. jay tee is known that much offa one song. any other album he sold for the most part was because the people were like "hey, they sang that back to the hotel song." and picked it up. me personally. i like alot of his shit. don cisco has a song or 2 i like, and the same for beesh. i liked a few songs by frost like late night rendezvous but after i found out his affiliation, i lost all love for him. i am in the same boat as OsO about sellin cd's. the national appeal don't mean shit to me. if i can make a modest living on rap in northern cali, i would die a happy man. i know what i want in life and money ain't a big deal to me anymore. new york don't like cali rap except for mainstream simple and plain, and no one i know on the east coast likes jay tee or n2deep or latino velvet and the only song they know by them is back to the hotel. maybe you know a couple of people, but i can't name one. i mean, i bought demonz N my sleep while i lived here in new york, does that mean that woodie is nationwide now? no. it means he has moved a few units out this way and even fools in other countries know who he is now, give Oso time and he will at least be there.

i do like n2deep's shit cause you know when i am in that playa mood i can get into that. me personally, i think R&b might be my favorite type of music nowadays. i love rap and have been listening to it since i can remember. since the days of life is....too short and i was like in 2nd grade. but i love where rap has made it to and i also hate where rap is going at the same time. in a lot of respects bay area rap is getting less and less recognition at one of if not it's best time. i would love to say, all northern cali rappers should have a pact you dig? but at the same time, people like jay tee(just an example) are working with frost every time he puts out an album, but he's also down with e-40 and mac dre and coolio the unda dog, a few of my favorites in this game. i think it's shitty he is working with them clowns down south, but at the same time he has been cool with me when i have talked to him in-mails and what not, but i am not diggin how he working with them scraps. i understand he is not affiliated but at the same time, if he and i were homeboys and i was kickin it at his house and 3 scrapas show up, how you think that would go down you dig? so at this point i don't know where i stand with jay tee in particular, but this was just a little of how i felt on this
