If the Ravens make a trade for McNair right now, then they'll have to pay McNair the 9,000,000 in bonuses that the Titans owe McNair right now. If the Ravens wait until a couple weeks from now for the Titans to cut McNair, they can get him at a cheaper price (they've already discussed a contract). So by waiting, the Ravens will get McNair at a cheaper price, but they'll also have very little time to actually be able to sit down and teach him the playbook. Its a damned if you do, damned if you don't kinda thing.

Either way...the Ravens won't be leading the AFC North anytime soon :devious:

McNair is finished.I can't see him returning to his All-Pro form, that dude has took a beating. The Ravens need alot more than you think obviously.
Its true that most QBs dont come back from serious injuries (there's an article on ESPN or SI.com somewhere). But McNair was with a really shitty Titans team the past few years (not that going to the Ravens will be an EXTREME improvement). The dude's a competitor. I hate the Tennessee Oilers and I hate the Baltimore Ravens, but I really do hope that McNair still has some gas left in his tank. If not he's goin out on a baaaad fuckin note.
