What's the deal with Mike Adamle?

This guy is a fairly charismatic announcer, but he's fuckin' up a lot. Do they have him playing a simp for a reason? I think it's a gimmick because back in his AG days he was the man to listen to.

The word around websites I've been reading is that Adamle is being used to increase ratings because people will tune in to see him
be a horrible commentator.

It worked for a minute, because I tuned in for a few weeks to hear him.

It's funny, but as a kid I can remember him and that one basketball announcer that got in trouble for fucking hookers. I'm at a loss for his name, though. Anyway, I agree with jayda. It worked for a while, but now I feel like he's lowering himself to pull work. It's annoying.
