I was bumpin this last night and I just couldnt get into it. So far Ive only listened to six or seven tracks but the beat selection seems to be lacking MAJOR...the clap on "I Went From" sounds like that fake as beat Method Man gave Ludacris to try to rhyme to on his comedy show! I havent finished listening to the album yet but let's hear some honest reviews because I was planning on sitting in my ride gettin off to this joint the whole summer and it looks like that wont be the case...

Yeah, there were a couple tracks I wasn't feelin', but it's a matter of personal taste. Lynch is still on-point with his lyrics...
I've already spoken more extensively on this on the SICCMADE board, but I as recall, back in '97 when LOADED came out, there were (believe it or not) folks who loathed that CD and thought it was wack. They complained that the production was too laid-back compared to SOTS. Nowadays, though, some people think LOADED is just as much of a classic as SOTS--I know folks that even like LOADED better than SOTS!
Lynch does all his CDs differently and you can't expect him to come the same each time. It's 2003, not 1995 or 1997. PEACE!

I havent heard it yet but i realized something today. I realized I need to stop thinking that LBI is going to be better than Season. Why? Because I really dont think there might ever be a better rap CD than Season. I just cant picture (besides a few minor points, ie: the last 2 tracks/shoutout, etc) how you CAN get a better rap cd. Its flawless.
So maybe I need to lower my expectations a bit, because beating SOTS, to ME, means basically being "the best rap cd of all time".

gave it a full listen on northern ridaz, and i thought that it was pretty good. you can't expect it to top SOTS, but it shits on EBK4, The Virus, and some of his recent shit. I didn't find any weak tracks on there. I actually really liked 'suicide note', but there was only one verse!! the usual supsects was tight...also liked disc 1 tracks 2 and 12. give it a listen on northern ridaz and form ur own oppinion.

I agree on that Suicide Note track...could used a few more verses! But its still dope so are quite a few other tracks. I guess I will copp because Im a lynch fan and the album sounds cool, I still gotta say though I am really dissapointed with the production on most of the CD especially the first disc. man lynch is coo as fuck...he one of those artists ill always stick up for....but this shit...i peeped it and man it aint on the level it aint sick.......yuk rips him to shreds on his own damn album...lynch better do somethin cuz just like hollow he put out a weak lil double album thang thang....lol...oh well
