The Rap Game's 101 Is The Future

These young lyricists are the future of rap. Never has there been such a collective of raw talent from different areas of the bay in one group. This is 101, and they're here to teach you how to rap.

Comprised of Cousin Fik (Sick Wid It Records), Infamous J Davinci (Done Deal), Costell (fka Mr. Riddla), and Global, the four fierce MCs were brought together by producer Cozmo to become a part of this 101 phenomenon. "They were all my individual homies and were dope so I put everyone together. Some of them didnt even know each other. I just felt these were the most talented artists that were not fully exposed that I was working with", explained Cozmo of the group.

Regular WCR visitors should already know about Cousin Fik and Infamous JD, and what they are capable of. Costell, formerly known as Mr. Riddla, was a part of the original Done Deal fam and is kin to OG Rob Lo from Get Low Playaz. He's representing San Francisco's Fillmore. Global is from Marin City, CA and has been making his name out in the North Bay with his already released "Global Warming" album.

Cozmo is also part of 101 but is taking the backseat role as producer. Other producers contributing to the movement are Tone Capone, Gennesse, Maxwell Smart, One Drop Scott, and Pablo Piccaso. Although highly bay oriented, the music formulated by 101 is universal and set to appeal to all regions. With the mighty San Quinn co-signing the movement and likely presenting the first release, 101 already has the deck stacked and the cards in their favor.

Get ready for 101 'cause class is soon in session! West Coast Rydaz has the pleasure of leaking some of the first exclusive collabs from 101. All track feature all 4 members of the

Thanks for the inquiry. Davinci has been movin from city to city, promoting Butter and Gunz and working to solidify a deal. He's also been gettin it poppin with 101. Look out for the album. The Mona Lisa is being polished as we speak. We are just working to get the right press, publicity and distribution for it. The album is gone to change what the bay knows as good music.
