Wrong group. He is talking about the group from the bay area.

I got that Roots from the Underground tape too. It was a decent album.

I think they were down with Sean T back in the day. I could be wrong though.

they became Kaotic Roots.........Kaos from the Murder 1 camp joined the group thus the name change. I don't think they've done much work as a group, but I know Papoose has been featured on some of Sean T's material. Isnt Papoose also part of M.O.G???? They had that Still Exposed out in '02.......................

That album was/is hard. That "P.A.Ps Going Murder 1" is my joint but there were other outstanding songs: 9mm Massacre, The Crossroads, Squares Wanna Be Players with Scoot, just to name a few. Id wish theyd release the video version of "Squares Wanna Be Players" in some way/format, since that version bumps 100% more than the cd version (that shits hella tight too). Quick story, my friends older brother was best friends with, I think, Mobboss. 1 day we were chilling at my friends house and Mobboss comes by asking us if we wanna buy some shirts and a video from him. He had a black shirt and a blue shirt from the group and the tape was the vid for "Squares.....". I bought the black shirt and vid, my friend the other shirt. Since that shit was too big, I gave it to my other dogg. Shit I wish Id kept it, shit woulda been a nice collectors item (but who thinks about those things) I still got the video somewhere back in the states.........

Papoose was one half of the duo Roots From The Underground on Murder One Records outta EPA and part of M.O.G's Still Exposed release from 2002. Now Papoose is on Get Gone Records working on a solo album produced by Sean T. We have the Roots From The Underground (1994) and Still Exposed (2002) CD's here: www.GetGoneRecords.com/pages/3/index.htm Check them out!

Naw...it's 2 different ones. The one you're thinking of is a newer artist from the East Coast and I've heard his stuff on alot of mixtapes too.

Anybody else peep the very last late night cmc show where they played a half hour mix of bay videos. i got that ish on tape somewhere. i remember it had playas mode-young lay, mobbin my old school-lil bruce, way 2 real-chilee powdah, street life-young life, livin in the last days-kaos, funky expedition-concious daughters, sic wit tis-mac mall, plus a gang more.

by the way, andy kawanami started producin some bay videos after cmc. i know he produced one for Jay Tee but cant remember the name of it rit now.
