I dont think shit is the same anywhere. I'm sure there are similarities in some cities and states, but there are differences too. If southerners and northerners are in a way "unified" in texas who cares. I'm not in texas, are you in texas? and if your not why do you care? they are not a part of your life. In Salinas you might see crips and nortenos, Nortenos and bloods, and blood and crips with no funk towards eachother at all, is that any different?. In texas i'm sure that gangs are alot more "RACE" oriented. So you got the Whites, blacks, mexican and the others. So maybe in order to maintain status they've joined up mostly because they share a race. ever thought about it like that?

Southside United States and Southside CALI are 2 different things. I see what you are saying but by far the vast majority of real Surenos and real Nortenos are in Cali because it's a Cali thing. So those places you named are geographically southside but they aint "str8 up" anywhere near the SOUTHSIDE of Cali (particularly Colorado which is as far north as the Norte anyway). El Paso comes very close tho being that it is across the river from Juarez Mexico, and though I don't doubt there being Nortenos there ... I have family there and go every year and have never seen any.
