SHAN damn I remembered those days in early 80s rap music, was more then just songs on the radio. You ride your b.mx bike or catch the buss whatever to get that new tape the whole vibe was different you never made a purchase to hear the features mcs could hold it down and performances were tight,I remember seeing biz markie, big daddy kane , stestasonic,7a3(muggs old group) rodney o,Rakim, P.E. epmd, kool moe dee, busy bee,n.wa. king t,dela soul, too short, whodini,ll cool j, Ive been to a few since and it just aint the same, the days you had your tape on pause waiting to record that new song that was on kday, or sitting at the tables at school battling and talkin of the new shit like yo did you here about that krs-one vs just ice etc etc, now I go pay $16 for some mediocre shit, dont get me wrong there is some tight artists today its just a whole other game...
