Pick a point in the earth’s future and tell us what you think it will be like – how things will be different and/or how they will be the same. You can pick two days from now or 2,000 years from now(whenever as long as it is in the future).

Will people still be around? Will they look and act like they do now? Will there be new plants and animals? What do you think they’d be like? Maybe the earth won’t be around anymore because it implodes in 2012?

Be creative. Its Friday.

Thread was inspired by some strange dream I had last night.

But Seriously I believe that we will have to cooperate & get back to nature planting shit and taking care of the earth...... I believe that within 2000 years crazy enough effects of our mistreatment of natural recourses and pollution will give way to catastrophe's... weather thinning of ozone or?? but I believe some strait scary shit will even have bloods and crips out planting trees in fear for their existence? I can't call it....Id just hope genetic altering will have a bunch of Selma Hayeks running around so my great great great great ect ect grandchildren can enjoy!

in 500 years from now our life expectancy will be dramatically increased. We will have technology to control weather, and DNA. Computer will be quantum, giving us the ability to solve crazy problems, like dissembling molecules, and reorganizing them.

Evolution wise is random, but with genetics we will control it. In order to survive we need to evolve out of the killer instinct, and develop defense on a universal level... not against ourselves.

YOU UP ON THAT STILTON CHEESE, BREH?

That shit's the truth if you wanna have some of the craziest vivid dreams you've ever had in your life
I'm intrigued, tell me more of this stilton cheese.

To answer CB's question, 2012, the fall of the American Empire, not unlike Rome and Babylon before it. It will of course be replaced by another great empire, but not before another dark ages, or maybe I'm just high. *shrugs*

There were a few studies done that proved cheese in general has an affect on dreams... well, Stilton blue cheese was found to have the most vivid affect on dreams, with study participants (both male and female) sharing dream experiences comparable to a good subconscious trip on shrooms. They ate 20 grams of it a half hour before going to sleep. I eat 30 grams... it has yet to disappoint for me

Maybe I'll make a thread about it in the Detox sometime, lol. Good shit tho, I highly recommend tryin it out

http://www.stiltoncheese.com/

Stilton doesn’t just taste good but it’s crammed with goodness. It has a less aggressive flavour than many other blue cheeses and is less salty.
Facts and Figures

•There are just 6 dairies in the world licensed to make Blue Stilton cheese
•Stilton is a "protected name" cheese and by law can only be made in the three counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire
•It takes 136 pints milk (78 litres) to make one 17 lb (8kg) Stilton cheese
•Stilton takes its name from the village of the same name in Cambridgeshire where a pressed, cooked, cream cheese of that name was first made and sold. We are still unclear how it evolved into a semi hard unpressed blue vein cheese but our History of Stilton section sheds some light on its evolution
•Over 1 million Stilton cheeses are made each year
•More than 10% of output is exported to some 40 countries world-wide
•Every cheese is graded before leaving the dairy to ensure only cheese of the highest quality is marketed under the Stilton name
•White Stilton is also a protected name cheese and is made in a similar way to its blue cousin - except that no mould spores are added and the cheese is sold at about 4 weeks of age. It is a crumbly, creamy, open textured cheese and is now extensively used as a base for blending with apricot, ginger and citrus or vine fruits to create unique dessert cheeses.
The Stilton Cheesemakers' Association (SCMA)
The SCMA was formed in 1936 to represent the interests of the Stilton manufacturers and to raise standards. Today the SCMA has those same objectives but is also responsible for:

•Promoting Stilton world-wide
•Managing the trade marks; and
•Ensuring that standards are maintained at all licensed dairies.

The SCMA was granted a certification trademark for Stilton in 1966 and is still the only British cheese so accredited. This meant that the good name of Stilton was protected and that imitations produced other than in the three counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire could not be sold under the Stilton name.
In 1996, the SCMA achieved "Protected Designation of origin" status for Blue Stilton from the European Commission. Whereas certification trademarks had to be separately applied for in each EU country, the PDO effectively gave Stilton protection from imitation across the whole of the EU. In addition, over the years, the SCMA has been granted certification trademarks for Stilton in many non-EU countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
The SCMA is responsible with the relevant government authorities for ensuring correct use of the Stilton name and in recent years action been taken against traders, manufacturers and retailers in the UK and elsewhere who have attempted to pass off ineligible cheese as Stilton.

When consumers buy a piece of Stilton they can be assured that it has been made by an eligible dairy in one of the three counties to an approved recipe.

Lot's of people think technology and whatnot is going to make things better for our future, I on the otherhand beg to differ. I believe its gonna fuck everything up. Technology is already ahead of us in so many ways, too ahead of us in my opinion. People will eventually serve no purpose as technology dumbs us all down. I mean shit, they've already figured how to clone... who needs women around to reproduce when you can just clone a mfkr?

And the post office? Who the fuck needs a post office anymore? Along w/ everything else that technology is taking over. If it were up to me, we'd go back to the old days of farming and producing our own food. At least it would be safe to eat again. Technology has made our food unsanitary and deadly. Technology has ruined the oceans with oil spills. Technology has taken away so many hard working citizens jobs. Technology is making women infertile and probably causing other health related issues that we aren't even aware of yet. If you trust influenza shots, so be it, but in todays society, I don't trust anything and especially something the media and government is trying to push.

Today has been a somewhat of a scary day. I had someone come up to me and tell me I might have an autoimmune disease such as Lupus and that I should get go get checked out. All because as of two years ago, I can't go out in the sun without getting a rash on whatever skin is exposed to the sun. In all my younger days, I always tanned so nice and never had any skin problems and now all of a sudden I do. I'm not the only one. It seems to be more common now than ever before. Could it be from chem trails? Could it be from the sun itself getting too close to the earth? Could it be from a lotion, laundry detergent, household cleaner I used?

It could be.

Then again, it might not be.

All I know is I can't trust anything I ingest, breathe, or use anymore and a lot of it has to do with the evolution of technology.

After today, I'm trying my hardest to go full organic on everything from my body wash to the food I eat. Fuck anything man/technolgoy has created/fucked with.

Well... except the Siccness. LOL.
;)

Na, but on the realness... I think the future is headed for some hard times and big trouble.
