I got this idea from a myspace post... what was your first job and how long were you there for?

My first job was when I was 12. I worked for the Argus Newspaper Group and I use to slang newspapers in front of supermartkets and shit. I got smart and started to empty out the other newspapers from the machines and sell them too. I was there for about a year before it got too embarassing for me to stand there peddling newspapers.

I was 12 when i started selling newspapers for the Times in the west bay. We'd get picked up afterschool by this old lady cross the san mateo bridge go door to door at our designated blocks until it turned dark. I also slang newspapers for the Daily Review, Argus & tri star back then when daily review ran all 3 papers, which was the newspaper for the city of alemeda.....Same routine we'd just switch off different newspapers different weeks. Did that til 13. I made some cool cash back then this was like 90-91. I remember competing wit different crews and at the end of the week we'd all go out for pizza n go bowling. To this day i still remember that page paragraph we had to memorize and say it to every door we knocked.........

When I was 14, I was a telemarketer, for about 4 months through the summer and end/begining of school... went back there off and on during the nest few years, until I decided to deliver pizzas at 18... that lasted a year or so.

Age 16, Burger King. Hahaha. Only lasted two months before I got into a "verbal disagreement" with the manager. I worked there with my best friend at the time, and we never did any real work. Mostly had pickle and tomato fights, and stuff shit to the ceiling. It was back before I was vegetarian too. So we were always stealing food and goofing off. The arguement was over the fact that I had to pay for my own uniform and yet they wanted it BACK when I talked about quitting. So I assumed I'd get my money back. Apparently not. ( $30 was a lot to me then. Well.. even now...) So there were a few words.

used to carry record crates for my Uncle Dan. He DJ'd @ this spot in Downtown Sac called Galactica 2000...mind you, this was in 1980...the place was fresh. Everybody from the Gap Band, Too $hort, War, Rick James, Lakeside..even Dana Dane rocked there. At night the place would smell like weed, primos, and aqua net...those were the days.

Also worked @ the family resturant from 10-21 years old. I still smell like lard.
