YOU HEARD FROM ECCR...THE FIRST SHIT I HEARD WAS NE2..AND I COPPED IT MAINLY BCUZ IT FEATURED HOLLOW TIP AND YOUNG DROOP..SO I THOUGHT MAYBE ITS SOME TYTE SHIT ON THERE(IVE NEVER REALLY BEEN ONE TO COP STR8 GANG RELATED SHIT)..THAN I REALIZED IT WAS A RECYCLED TRACK THAT I ALREADY OWNED..THAT KINDA SUCKED..BUT AS I LISTENED TO THE ALBUM..WOODIE REALLY IMPRESSED ME LYRICALLY..SEEMED TO BE SPITTIN STR8 REAL AND RAW EMOTION..THATS THE SHIT I DIG...AND I ACTUALLY WAS DIGGIN IT MORE BECUZ IT WASNT COMPLETELY FILLED WITH SCRAP THIS AND NORTE THAT..JUST ENUFF TO SHOW THERE AFFILIATION...

SO SOON AFTER I COPPED DEMONZ N MY SLEEP..AND THO THE VOLUME WAS REAL SHITTY..THIS ALBUM HOOKED ME TO WOODIES MUSIC....THE TITLE TRACK WAS ENUFF TO HOOK ME FOR LIFE..I HAD BEEN GOIN THRU A VERY SIMILAR SITUATION WHEN A FRIEND OF MINE WAS KILLED..AND WE HAVE SOME AUDIO FROM ABOUT A WEEK OR 2 B4 HIS DEATH WHERE HE IS FREESTYLING AND PROPHESIZING HIS DEATH(NO BULLSHIT YALL WILL HERE IT SOMETIME) SO WHEN I HEARD DEMONZ N MY SLEEP IT WAS LIKE TOO COINCIDENTAL....

FROM THERE I COPPED YOC INFLUENCED(LOVED THIS SHIT) AND ne4...STILL DONT OWN NE1..BUT I HAVE QUITE A FEW OF THE SONGS(ALMOST ALL) BURNED ON VARIOUS CD COMPILATIONS IVE MADE....LATEST SHIT I COPPED WAS NE5..IM A ECCR SUPPORTER AND THIS WAS MY STORY..LMAO

i first heard NE1, mainly cuz there was a big buzz about it throughout the town. At first i wasnt into it due to the fact it sounded different than anything else i heard at the time. I just bought it as a novalty item because it said "welcom to antioch " on the cover. Then eventually it started growing on me. IT got to the point to where that was the only shit i could listen to. then i got ne2 when it came out, deamonz, ect. i just recently got yoc influenced about a year ago. I wish i got that one when i t came out.
yea, so its safe to say im a ECCR fan for life. Its a trip that the rap that im feelin most is rap that comes out of my home town. what are the odds

shit the first song i heard from woodie was "way you feel" off of assassin's" city of dope back" in like 99.
i couldnt find no shit from him in san jo so hit hit the net and made a little 14 track cd of woodie songs. burned it and passed it to the homies.
eventually i ened up swoopin "demonz"" northern exposure 2" and "4". but man woodie gotta sick ass flow.
i was always burnig the cd for my lil cuzzin because the fucker would break it or leave it places.
i never sold it though . for promo use only.
eventually all my boys figuerd out who woodie was and we've been buy his shit ever since.

the first I got was yoc influenced I heard about woodie and I was just wasting time in sam goody and saw it so I just picked it up and been listening to eccr evere since think thats when they only had tapes thats what my first copy was

I SAW DEMONZ N MY SLEEP IN THA USED SECTION AT INDEPENDENT RECORDS. I LOOKED AT THA TRACKLISTING THEN THE COVER AGAIN, SO I MADE THA ASSUMOTION HE WAS REAL WIT IT. THROUGH IT IN THA WHIP AND BANGED IT /4/ A COUPLE OF MONTHS STRAIGHT. THEN I NOTICED THEY HAD ALL THA NE'S AT THE SAME STORE, SO I STARTED SWOOPING EM UP 1 BY 1

i lived in oklahoma at the time, but i saw that woodie's YI had a review in murder dog. They were sayin he was puttin it down for nortenos and shit, which caught my interest, I later saw an interview with him in murder dog a few months later.....but it wasn't until I saw NE2 in the used cd's section at rasputins in the berk. that I bought an ECCR cd. That shit was beatin, so I decided to listen to NE1 when i was at home in watson at music maddness, that shit was beatin too, so when i got back up north to petaluma, i saw YI at backdoor disc and tape and copped that. the other cd's were on the back burner after i got YI, i played the shit out of that cd for a long time

I remember sitting at a bus stop a few years back and I remember listening to two girls and one fool talking. He was telling them that Woodie was the best Norteños rapper he's ever heard then they brought up the fact that he's white and wasnt a real norteño, so i remember how he tried to get them to take a listen. They didn't but it caught my attention. That night I got on Northern-Ridaz and listened to Yoc Influenced (the album) and the first Song I listened to was Norte Sidin, after that I was a fan.

I first heard woodie on the blood and tears soundtrack, that track take my soul...then a couple weeks later at california music in gilroy i saw woodies solo yoc influenced, but i bought j-loc's solo instead...then a couple weeks later at eastridge in san jo i saw yoc influenced again, so i bought it and ive bought every eastcoco release since.......

i was livin in Arizona at the time and i copped that Assassin City of Dope CD and i heard Woodies shit....i didnt even realize he was a norteno i just knew it was some Nortthern Cali music and i liked it....i looked up other songs n shit and figured out he was an eNe which kinda surprised me...no offense but up until then i never really heard any Norteno rappers i was feelin that much.....so i was like yeah this dude got skills and the beats is slumpin.....
