What was the first album you bought with YOUR OWN money?


I always had tapes that I copied off other people or tapes & CD's (later) that people got for me.

For me the first I paid my own money for(i think it cost like $20 at the time). . .

First album I ever owned I'm pretty sure was Fat Boys Crushin but I was hella little and my mom bought it for me.

I think the first tape i ever bought with my own money damn I'm not even sure I think it was

I think mine was the same, although i cant exactly remember. It may have been that or Geto Boys - We Cant Be Stopped.

The first tape i EVER got from someone was:



...from my dad when i was like 6.

The first tape i ever recieved that WASNT a childrens tape was:





BTW...these were all TAPES...not CD's.

lol.... i was 7 when slim shady lp came out, and i was 10 when that still i rise came... im sorry im not as cool as you, buying albums for yourself before the age of 10

The first TAPE i got with my own money.....probably a methodman tape
The first CD i got with my own money....I think it was "I Hate You with a Passion" by Dre Dog i saved lunch money and shit and walked to Rock Bottom

my first tapes were Heavy D and the Boyz,DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince,LL Cool J Bad but the first one I was able to swoop was Ice T Rhyme Pays......thanx to slanging snickers on the on the school yard......
