No doubt... Anyone from a real block or hood knows all the bullshit any gangsta haz to go through... facin an un optimistic outlook on life... jail, death, dead homies,, alcolhol and weed /other... ho's are dirty so fuck lookin for love after the pimp shit.. Its all a cycle.... maby i'll grow out of it one day and be the better man to influience my friends for the better someday... but doing so you cannot survive in our environment... real talk..
All i know is that im a minority in an elevated position. So you can BET YOUR FUCKING ASS i am not going to PURPOSELY run away from home and go to the ghetto, just to get a "rep". I just get sick of cats thinkin, like, i "sold out" or some shit, just because i speak well and im goin to college...actin like i aint gonna give back to my poor folks if i ever make it big..like i aint never been on welfare or lived on top ramen or some shit!
If it means being a square for the next 10 years (or 20
) so i can open a few businesses and sign my peoples from the streets, so they can feed their seeds...SO BE IT. But at the end of it...cats is gonna look at what I accomplished, and realize that they should try to make the most out of what they have...and instead of bitching about being mistreated, and running away from home to sell dope and run the streets...maybe they'll make that extra effort to go to college...or whatever else.
My last 60-70 bucks ive had, i bought books on Hindi (500 mil speakers), Pushtu (50 mil), Arabic (300) and Urdu (60). And I aint plannin on learnin em for shits and giggles.....thats just ME and how my mind works! I may be the biggest square you've ever known, but all im really doin is tryin to take as many "ghetto" muhfuckaz as i can with me to the very top!!!!! :devious:
