the thing is.. which one?

I was lookin at the Nikon D-40 for $499.95.. of course it's 6.1 mp
the other one I looked at was the Canon Rebel XT 8.0 mp... for $499.99

which should i get??????

pros and cons...?

all depends on what u plan on shooting?

don't trip so much on mega pixels unless you plan on doing large print work - im not a canon fan but for that price range the xti is a great cam

trajik: so Canon 8.0 or Nikon 6.1? I noticed the Canon info said it shoots faster...
