The first time I remember hearing Tech was when I moved out to Kansas City and Let's Get Fucked Up by the 57TH Street Rogue Dog Villians was tearing up 103.3 on the radio. I've been listening to Tech every since then. How did everyone else come about liking Tech's music?

Questions did it for me man....

His first verse on there... I wanna ask me a question

When am I gonna make it up out of a hellish and devilish way?
When are you gonna make mill-ions with the dividends;
when are you gonna make ends generate wait?
Who in the hell, left the gate open? Do you wanna sell?
Is everybody on wavelength like us?
Why do I rip it in half, do we kick ass with backwards
attach isssh like (backward ish)!!!!!!!

That nigga spit his shit backwards! WHAT MY NIGGA!!!!! That shit was off the chain!!!!! Been hooked ever since.

The Calm Before the Storm is still one of the hardest cd's ever IMO.

Oh yea and that song NIGGAS!!!!!!

Vintage Tech 2 should have that song on it.

I first heard Tech N9ne on the radio here in KC back in September 2001... "It's Alive" was the top song for like 3 weeks straight. Couldn't miss it. So, I made sure I knew when the album was dropping, and went to Best Buy and picked it up. :classic:

The song that got me hooked on Tech N9ne is "Psycho Bitches (Original)". I got the Qwest Records Presents The Pu-Pu Platter sampler from a friend of mine that owned a small mom and pops record shop in 1999. He came back from a record pool and gave me the cd because he knew that I liked the faster rappers and from then on, I been a Tech N9ne fan.

Peace and God bless.

The first time I heard Tech was my first year in college when I was in the dorms and the guy in the next room over was bumping "I'm a Playa". He was from KC and introduced me to Tech. I am from the STL area and hadn't ever heard of Tech, but a lot of people at UMR (Rolla, MO) are from KC, so there is a huge following for Tech there. I have been hooked ever since for the last 5 years.
