It depends on your chips.

LOL @ 75 tho, celcius???

I don't even have a fan on my CPU and it's at 21c, internal 40c, gpu 50c with only 2 silent fans as exhaust.

Download SpeedFan actually, it will tell you.

little bit high you should open up your case and clean all the dust out. have a vacuum hose in there and blow compressed air over everything
Is it a good idea to air out your computer?Ive been thinking of doing that but I dont know if it would be good for it

air out?.. i take a leaf blower to my shit every other month or so... does the job in like 30 seconds... my power supply died on me last week.. so i had to put the old one back in and i had to disconnect my graphics card.. everything looks like shit... but i'm sure it's hella cooler now.

if you just blow compressed air at it it does not really solve the problem. all the shit is just in the air and will probably settle right back on your pc components. what you need to do is have a vacuum running and stick the hose inside the case where you are aiming the compressed air. that way the shit goes into your vacuum bag and not back inside the pc. a real air compressor like you would have in a shop or a garage is much better than the cans. it is way easier to blast the dust off. but cans do work.

not sure what you meant by air out, but it is generally not a good idea to "air out" the computer by leaving the case open. almost all cases and case fan locations are designed to have directed flow. this means that air will enter into the case, flow over the components and then be exhausted out the back. if the side of the case is open your flow is no longer directed and it will probably get hotter. only if your case fans are ridiculously covered in dust or put in backwards will this help.

I have this huge mother fucker on my cpu and it keeps the temps down but under load I can still get around 75C. The P4 CPU's run really hot though but if you have a newer CPU (Dual Core) that is way too hot:

did you install it yourself? if so, were you careful to put an extremely thin layer of thermal paste on? 75 seems pretty hot
Me? Yeah I installed it myself and put the thermal past on right. It runs cooler than the stock fan but I have it in a really enclosed area on my computer desk so it doesn't get the best airflow and I need to clean the dust out of my computer badly. It only gets over 70 when it is under heavy load and I have it overclocked to 3.8ghz from 3.2. That cooler is huge though and it does a much better job than the stock heatsink.
