what programs do yall use?

i was checking out all of the threads n i was just wondering what are some of the programs yall use to design cd covers n stuff..is there any i could download for free just to get the hang of it for now?

The majority of The badasses here use Paint Shop Pro. If you're elite you might want to use Ulead Photo Impact or MS Paint if you're a master.





































Everyone else uses Photoshop lol.

most ppl use photoshop, its most popular, but there are others that are junk unless ur really good, such as unleaded, paint shop pro, shit like that.

No, after 30 threads for the same question, it gets annoying. Even searching google will give you a good idea of the top software. About.com is a good site to get a background info on each software title.

Yeah psp is limited. Start messing with Photoshop. Tutorials will lay the foundation that you need to develop your own style and techniques. Later you won't even use tutorials anymore.

I love illustrator...for i've seen fools pull shit of in illustrator that you would not believe, shit you can only imagine doing...I utilize both...

...illustrator allows me to do complex and precise line art...while photoshop is great for coloring and effects...peep the some old stuff I've done

...the van and logo on 1st 2 done in illustrator

...the last one is a art for webpage, all created in illustrator
