Would you buy a compilation that you've never heard based off of the artists or producers or would you first want to hear snippets of the tracks.

i look at who is putting it out too,either the artist or label,whatever it may be...but i think with all comps, to most people, it always comes down to who is on it,they like to see alot of big names,or at least cats that they know about

I look at a few things when buying a compilation
not necessarily in this order.
1. Is it all new material
2. What label is putting it out.
3. The theme of the compilation.
4.The artist- the comp has to be full of artist I would slump anyway.
5. Is there a 1:00 skit every third song? I HATE SKITS.
6. Are there any major solos or duos = GOOD:devious:
