a good combo of everything. I used to think if at least one of those being hella sick would make a hit but i noticed that those kind of songs get old and weak hella quick. Like songs with gay ass hooks will make you skip the song as soon as the hook comes on. Stupid lyrics make an automatic skip. Beat is important but not as much, as long as its not hella retarded and has coo lyrics and hooks its ok. But a hit must have all three of those and then it will sick as fuck and will never get old

It's a fine line...because usually if you have a song with a strong message, or that is saying something worth listening to it aint going to be getting spins in the club...and if the breezys don't want to dance to it...it aint a "hit."
