what things have you experienced that you reflected on and changed your views about? or that you think have subconsciously affected the way you see things?

i think all of our life experiences shape our political views, from where we're from (city/suburb/country) to class (rich/poor/middle) to race, male/female, to individual experiences like seeing cops beat up someone or having police in your family and seeing it from that perspective.

so whats your background & hows it affected how you see things?

i think the shit that affected me was all the killings i hear about, the ppl i heard of gettin shot and all the gangbangers i see with everything they want. i say to myself, if they can be bad and god lets them get what they want, then y cant i?? but then i realize where those guys r gonna go when they die. and i dont know the emotional pain they suffer. i switch off and on between giving a damn and caring. at this moment, i dont care about shit, except my family. i dont care if i get shot tommorrow, if i get beat up, or anything. i dont know when i'll change back. i think i need to see a shrink. i am so messed up in the brain right now.
