ima post this here in the open forum as well as the classifieds, jsut to get more of a response.

i dont know i see shit on amazon and im not sure what the real value of a cd is anymore.

for example, im not gona buy this cd, its jsut an example. - lets take this

bad-n-fluenz cd. it goes for 99 on amazon.

what would it go for on ebay?

also, what do you think is the real value of the cd.

also, is there like a formula or percentage amount from a price from amazon or froma price from ebay?

like that influenz cd is 99 on amazon. so would the real value be like maybe 60% or 50% of amazon or ebay.

so at most shoudl the real value of th cd be like 50 bones or some shit.

i know you cant value a sentimental purchase, but lets leave that bullshit emotional 'dont play with my emotions smokey' and get a lil economics/scientific here.

what chall thank?

amazon is a set price by the seller waiting for someone to buy that.

ebay is high risk high reward. the amazon wont sell for anything under that price. if you want to sell your $99 dollar on ebay, you might get way less or way more. thats the risk. you gotta make sure the people who actually want that product and are willing to pay for it during your 7 day ebay auction. what if your #1 buyer is on vacation for the week or if no one remembers to look for that cd on ebay. so its kinda hard to do ebay, but ive seen high price cds on amazon sit there for years too. at least ebay you will sell it when the auction is over.

cool tahnx for the response, but i wasnt really thinking bout ultra rare cds like the one you listed. but i guess you right it will vary depending on the rarity of the cd.

you know im just gonna bookmark a couple i see on ebay that are also on amazon and see what the percentage differences are.

still there has to be a range percentaage wise or dolalr wise to what the real value of the cd is compared to the actual asking price or final auction price is.

ill jsut do a lil research.

it depends on a lot of things one major factor is who the seller is if your not known by these oversea buyers then you aren't gonna make as much as the man who is always selling rare gems on ebay from one seller to the next there is a huge jump in price i've seen one seller sell a k-dee cd on ebay for $60 and during the same time another seller sold his for $30

sht also i think amazn takes a cut, so you ahve to jack the price up a lil more. ill se what amazons cut is at the end.

dmn, to many variables. im sure theres a formula. jsut gotta factor all of em in.

i think it all depends on how much of a collecter you really are. if it's a rare ass OG c.d., and you really need it/want it, then you might pay top notch dollar for it. but if you just want it to add to your lil collection and aint feelin the big price, then probably wont buy it. if you have the money and are a huge collecter of rare OG's, then you might cough up that much money. i mean, if i had the money, i'd definitly purchase an rare OG copy of "TRU - TRU 2 Da Game" c.d. with the track "Smokin Green" on it for 100. i dont know. thats just me.
