Hip-hop to me is being genuine. It's expression of deepest form, because it's raw and gritty. No matter if it's music, graffiti, or dancing... as long as it has that soul in it, it's hip-hop. Unfortunately, you are incorrect. Both of these songs are hip-hop. There are several sub-genres of hip-hop, however (pop to gangsta).
