I was thinking about this same topic today while I was listening to the Federations WHAT IF I HAD A GUN and I was thinking about Mac Dre and I started to really see how much of a cowardly message these kind of songs send. I am sick of rappers wolfin about GUNS GUNS GUNS. GUNS= DEATH, pain, loss of family and a hell of alot more negative actions. Enough with the gun talk we have lost enough good people to cowards who can't fight so they run and get a fucking gun. BITCHES if you can't beat that man then be man enough to admit it to yourself...talk it out like men or fight like men...not grab a gun like a scary ass bitch. Now some real men carry guns because of all of these cowards having guns...they need to protect themselves, but god damn enough have fallen, LET THE BULLSHIT GO!

I can dig it, Everyone wants to be a rapper or rap. I be like I hope they know what they are getting there selves into. It is almost like being in a gang. (Which most rappers/artist are) You live by the life you die by the life. What people need to understand is no one has the power to give life or give death. Only the man upstairs has that authority. I pray everyday for my homies that are in the game or a rap artist, because there are soooo many haters out there someone can just take your life, just because of Jealousy. It is really sad. I am sooo tired of going to funerals, evertime I attend one I be like I am not going to no more...

But how can you say that when you know there will be another one just around the corner. WE HAVE TO STOP THE VIOLENCE IN A LIL' BIT THERE ARE GOING TO BE NO BLACK MEN!!

Its that I wanna be a gangsta mentality, we grow up in a society where that type of shit is 'cool'. If you aint got a gun you aint a 'real man', if you aint quick to kill a nigga u a sucka. Its in so much of our music and media to the point where folks get 'hypnotized' to what they are listening to and seeing. Its gotten to the point where you cant go no where with out a gun, cause if you dont some one else does.....ya know. Protection is key in this industry. Now if there were more rappers like The Frontline for example thats like you step to me I'll whoop ya ass then folks would know oh I dont need a gun I can be real man and show my strength If it ever came down to that type of bull. It should never come down to that but I sho would rather get in a fist fight then loose my life over some weak ass jealousy shit cause thats usually what Brothas get popped at for.
Thats just my opinion
