Well religions have created governments that are part of the religion was my point. A religion can be a government but a government can't be a religion although it can be followed religiously. That's my philosophy I suppose.

Communism has existed, sure. But not on such a grandscale. If anything Ghandi and Jesus were communists.
As for America being a democracy, nah it never was. Always has been a republic. But proof of being nicer to people as opposed to mean is all circumstantial, i suppose if you're good to someone as opposed to mean they wont have as high a tendency to kill you.
