what is a really interesting topic to do an informative speech about?

Do something cool, informative, and simple. An autobiography on some one famous (Joan of Arc) or an animal (Cheetah). The trick is to do it on something you'll have a TON of available information at hand and something in which you will NEVER show any sort of bias towards since you are simply stating facts.

if you have a hobby that you are really good at then just talk about that....thatz what I did when I had to do my informative speech in my Comstdy 102(I think that was it)...

I had to do an informative speech and I did one on the Prison-Industrial Complex in America which was a little difficult cuz of all the speculation and opinions invovled. It's a lot easier to do a process speech like a "how to" or something about a sport or like the homie said a topic. You need hella factual information and be able to present it in a well structured body which makes "how to" speeches ideal. Just tell the class how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich mayn. Cant go wrong wit that.
