I use all 3 and just started using chrome as my main browser. It does have a popup blocker.

I HATE IE 8. Shit freezes a lot and stalls on link clicks all the time on my comp. Wish i had stuck to IE7.

Flock Announces Powerful New Advances for Twitter and Facebook Users in its Latest Browser

The Easiest Way To Share And Stay In Touch With the People and Information You Care About Online

Redwood City, Calif.--May 19, 2009—Flock, the social web browser, today announced the availability of Flock 2.5. This new, free version of the popular browser gives active social users the fastest and easiest way to roam the web, keep in touch with the people and information they care about, and share their favorite content with their friends via the single application used by everyone online, the browser. Flock lets users keep their finger on the pulse of their social networks, yet gives them unprecedented freedom to explore online without having to click back and forth between social networks, websites, tabs, applications and content. And now, Flock is the only browser that allows users to take Facebook Chat with them wherever they go on the Internet.

“Users are interested in the most immediate news and content from their friends and trusted sources,” said Shawn Hardin, CEO of Flock. “While everyone is excited about the explosive growth of Twitter and Facebook, people are having a hard time staying on top of the volume and pace of information and alerts generated by these services. Flock brings everything you care about together in one place, and seamlessly integrates all of your favorite activities into the browser. The end result is that Flock makes the social web experience easy, fun and more fulfilling.”

Flock 2.5 makes both sharing and discovering content fast and easy. To share content, you simply drag and drop URLs, photos, videos, text or other content you find on the web to a friend’s Twitter, Facebook, MySpace or other profile in Flock’s People Sidebar, and it is instantly shared. Flock now also comes with Twitter Search that allows you to save all of your Twitter searches and keep them in one place, making the discovery of content automatic and straightforward.

The new FlockCast capability allows you to ‘broadcast’ your public actions to multiple locations at once, eliminating duplicate effort. Flock makes posting and promoting your own blogs into Facebook effortless; drag and drop content you find anywhere on the Web into your favorite blog and Flock posts it to your Facebook newsfeed. You can also automatically post your Tweets, status updates from MySpace, Bebo and other networks, along with blog posts and photo uploads to Facebook. And when you share a URL in a Twitter message, Flock automatically shortens the URL—eliminating the need to shorten the URL with yet another site. It’s all automatic with Flock.

Flock’s Twitter integration allows you to take full advantage of the browser to easily share content found on the web with your audience on Twitter. You can re-tweet and manage a variety of actions easily from within Flock’s People Sidebar. Flock also helps you manage many conversations by separating your @replies/mentions and direct messages into separate areas within the Flock Sidebar.

The latest release of Flock includes Facebook Chat for instant messaging with friends. Facebook Chat lets you see when other people are on online and makes sharing your discoveries with them easy, so you can remain connected while you travel across the Web. You can also drag and drop photos, videos, links and text into your chats, making your web experience simple, social and fun. (Editor’s Note: Videos of the new Flock 2.5 can be found at http://www.flock.com/tour/new.php)

Flock keeps everything in one place--your favorite people, sites, feeds, media, saved searches and activities--and offers a cure for information overload and social fatigue. Flock helps its users cut through the online clutter, without losing touch or missing out.

As social media explodes, so has Flock activity. There have been over 80,000,000 log-ins to services via Flock since the release of Flock 1.0. Flock users have a lot of friends, and they load those friends over 500,000,000 times into Flock’s People Sidebar each month. Eighty-nine percent of Flock users recommend it to their friends and Flock has sustained over a ninety percent user satisfaction rate. Flock is designed to serve the socially active user that wants to stay connected to various services and keep abreast of the latest information and activity in their lives. And Flock’s international reach is continuing to grow. The company is also announcing that Flock is now compatible with Bebo, the popular international social network. Bebo’s 22 million unique visitors can now enjoy the benefits of Flock and share content across all of their social networks. Bebo friends now appear instantly in the Flock People Sidebar along with your Facebook, MySpace and Twitter friends. With Bebo integration, Flock is now used in over 14,000 cities and over 192 countries and territories.
