Wut up. I made this post to ask ya'll about some hip hop artists I should check out. Now Im in no position to define what music fits into the "hip hop" genre, but I was thinking about artists that arent on all that gangster shit, or try and put out R&B kinda songs or whatever. Im thinkin more along the lines of artists like Gang Starr, Common, Mos Def, The Roots- you know, the kinda dudes who keep it all straight hip hop.
Im sure imma get some kinda shit about this post talkin like "everything is hip hop blah blah blah" or some kinda opinion that suggests that mine is fuckin stupid or somethin, so just do me a favor and post song/artist names of good songs that you think would fit into this category.

Good lookin everyone.

Are you guys talking about Atmosphere that originated in Minnesota? They sing a song like: I wanna be bigger than Jesus and bigger than breast implants... Ah shit, well I forget, it's been a while but it's something like that. I think they moved to Cali or some shit, but they just recently came back to MN. Just wondering if they're the same group.
