I believe in nothing but have a good idea about everything. If the world was to show me a truth that contradicted every thought in my mind, I'd still not take it as a solid form of belief and simply live my life best under the current situation. Getting wrapped up in facts/beliefs/theories is simply a way to divert your attention from your actual goals in life. As a matter of fact, if you are in the pursuit of knowledge, there should be something everyday that redirects your way of thinking... other wise you aren't in the pursuit of knowledge, you're in the pursuit of knowing which is an impossible state to achieve. You are never all knowing and once you believe you know it all, you're probably better off dead.
If it were all misinformation I would have never accepted its validity. It would be impossible to imagine america as democracy when you have so much credible evidence proving the opposite. But if my belief system were shattered it would be from me destroying it. Someone can tell me the sky is blue, but until I look outside and see the sky for myself the sky is gold. You can give me the information, but until I decide to research, validtate and apply what has been learned it doesn't matter. Why believe in something that has been PROVEN to be false?
^I'M JUST SAYIN', WHAT IF IT CAME TO BE FALSE CAUSE SOMETHIN' ELSE REVEALED IT? OR THAT WHAT YOU HAD FAITH IN, WAS ACTUALLY JUST SPECULATION? I KNOW IT'S ABOUT INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDgE, AND WHAT I'M ASKIN' SINCE WE ALL IMPERFECT, IS THAT IF SOME OF THAT KNOWLEDgE AND INFORMATION WAS MISCONSTRUED BY OURSELVES ALL ALONg?
