What I did at work part 3...

for anyone whos been following the series of me posting the sketches i do at work...

heres a rough draft for one of my homie young hamas

as you see, its a young hamas member
i havent detailed the hamas bandana or done the camoflauge yet or alot of really small details on the gun or the eyes or the background

just thought id share before i finished it while its in its raw stage...since i somewhat like it enough to not rip it up.

I think you should have done that on blank paper though. could have put it in photshop and cleaned it up real nice. Even put it on to a glossy print. Those blue lines are terribly hard to remove. I have had to do it with gray lines and that was a bitch.

well, i did it at work and didnt have blank paper with me, so i used what i had because i had an itch to draw... as far as getting the lines out, they wont be visible by the time im done..ive done hundreds and hundreds of these and after a while you learn little tricks..nothings going to be white so its all a matter of overshading or working with the lines in some way..

good looks for the props..its definately not done but it goes into my "stage 2" vault...a different folder than my new shit goes in...

how long did it take?

probably something like 3 hours...coloring is the hard part that takes too much damn work...but im actually better at coloring then inking..
